There are many reasons I ride. But the most important one is the freedom. In a car you get in and you sit. On a HOG you are a part of the machine. Ask any Biker they will tell you the same. The wind against your face and the way you lean into turns it is so satisfying. So when I say you wouldn't understand I meant it. You don't know how it is until your on one flying down the freeway at 75 to 80 mph and its you and the road. Its a brotherhood the other guy next to you can be on his/her HOG and you start talking or you see another brother on the other side of the road and you give the waive. I have a brother in law who bought one a month after I got mine and immediatly I noticed me and him were closer. That is great to me because I have always wanted to get to know him better. My father we will call him "Pops" loves his HOG and the same thing happened we got closer. We talk about our Harleys all the time, that is such a bond we have and its awesome.
Next summer I am planning on a cross country ride to see my Brother in Iowa. He is one of us too. He would tell you the same things I have mentioned. I think going on a ride with him is going to be one of the coolest thing I have done in a long time. I went to a Rally with him and his friends and saw how close of a group we are. It was so awesome I loved being able to have that experience with one of the people I still look up to. He was the one that instilled in me that fire to be free. It meant a lot. Plus we had a REALLY good time. Acting like I had terets and yelling stuff at random people. HAHAHA
I am thinking of starting a Motorcycle Club. I am planning it all out. I think it would be so cool to be able to have a group that we ride with. Having a Saturday morning ride where 4 to 5 bikes or even if it gets up to 30 to 40 bikes would be awesome or getting together with all our Ol Ladies and have a BBQ. I promise it will be nothing like vigilante clubs. The purpose in this is to bring people together who love to ride nd share the same qualities as the founders do. Yes there is more people who I know who share the same vision as I do. Rules for getting in well, no crotch rockets and they have to obey the law. There are MC's out there that still obey the law. We will also ride to rallies and eventually do charity runs and so forth. Let me know what you think of my idea. Thanks for reading!!!
